What makes a platform straightforward to support is short: a way to hand it a request from our server using your credentials, and a way for us to return the visitor to a page you chose. Most platforms already offer the first. The second is what PrayerLane adds, on top of any of them.

Questions
The things churches ask first.
Do you read or store the prayers people send?
No. PrayerLane never writes prayer request text to disk or to a database. The request is received in memory, delivered straight to your prayer platform, and released. What we keep is a delivery log: which form, when, whether it succeeded, and a one-way hash of the visitor address for rate limiting. There is no screen anywhere in PrayerLane, including our own internal tools, that can show you the text of a prayer request. This is a deliberate design choice and it is not configurable.
Do I need a developer?
No. You paste one snippet into a page on your website, the same way you would paste an embedded video. It works on Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, and hand-built sites. If your site builder lets you add a code block, you are done in about five minutes.
Does this replace our prayer platform?
No, and we would talk you out of it if you asked. Your prayer team keeps the tool it already knows, with its history, its assignments, and its habits intact. PrayerLane wraps the two ends your congregation touches: the form they fill in and the page they land on afterward. Everything in between stays exactly where it is.
We do not use Echo Prayer. Can you still help?
Probably, and we will tell you straight either way. Echo Prayer is the platform PrayerLane delivers into today because it is where we started, not because it is the only one worth serving. Delivery is built as a set of adapters, so any platform that publishes a way to accept a request from a server is a scheduling question rather than a research project. If your prayer requests arrive by email today, that works too. Tell us on the waitlist which platform you run and we will say honestly whether we can reach it now, what it would take, and where it sits in the queue.
What happens if we leave?
Your prayer platform account is yours and stays yours. Your thank-you page lives on your website. Cancel and remove the snippet, and you are back to where you started, with nothing of yours held hostage. We do not own your prayer data because we never had it.
How do you handle spam?
Every submission passes a layered check before it reaches your prayer team: a hidden field bots fill in and people do not, a timing check, a per-address rate limit you can tune, keyword scoring tuned for ministry language so that real requests about grief, illness, addiction, and money trouble are not mistaken for junk, and an invisible reputation score. Blocked submissions are counted in your log so you can see what the form is holding back.
Can we use a thank-you page we already have?
Yes. Point the off-ramp at any page on your site. If you would rather not build one, we will host a clean, brand-matched thank-you page for you. Either way the page is reachable only after a real submission, so your analytics can trust it.
Is our platform API key safe?
Yes. The key is stored on our server and never sent to a browser. The form your visitors see contains no credentials at all. Delivery happens server to server, which also means the key cannot be lifted out of your website source.
