PrayerLane

Terms of service

The agreement, in plain language.

We have tried to write this the way we would explain it in a meeting. It is still a contract, so please read it.

Last updated 12 August 2026.

1. Who you are agreeing with

PrayerLane is provided by Comp Edge Solutions. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Comp Edge Solutions, and "you" means the church, ministry, or organization using PrayerLane.

2. What PrayerLane does

PrayerLane provides a branded prayer request form you place on your own website, delivery of those requests into your own prayer platform account, and a redirect to a page of your choosing after a request is submitted. We are a relay between your website and your prayer platform. We are not your prayer platform, and we do not replace it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your login secure, and for what the people you give access do with it. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

4. Your prayer platform and your credentials

You bring your own prayer platform account and supply the credentials for it. You confirm that you are permitted to use those credentials this way. We are not responsible for that platform's availability, pricing, behavior, or changes to it, and a change on their side may require a change on ours.

5. Your content

Your logo, your wording, your thank-you page, and the requests your congregation sends are yours. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to display your branding on your form and to deliver submissions to your platform. We claim no ownership of any of it.

6. What we ask of you

  • Use PrayerLane lawfully, and only for prayer request intake and related pastoral communication.
  • Do not use it to send unsolicited bulk email or to collect information under false pretenses.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or resell the service.
  • Tell your congregation honestly how their prayer requests are handled once they reach you. That part is your ministry, not our software.

7. Privacy and prayer request text

We do not store the text of prayer requests. The full explanation is in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Once a request is delivered, it lives in your prayer platform and is your responsibility.

8. Fees, trials, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe. Where a trial is offered, you may cancel before it ends without being charged. You can cancel at any time and will keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for time already served unless the law requires it. If we change prices, existing customers get at least thirty days notice before the change applies to them.

9. Fair use

We do not meter prayers, and we will not send you a message about exceeding a prayer quota. Plans are limited by number of forms and by features, not by how many people ask for prayer. In exchange we ask that usage stays within what a reasonable congregation of your size would generate. If traffic through your account becomes disruptive to the service or is clearly automated, we will contact you and work it out with you before taking any action.

10. Availability and support

We work hard to keep PrayerLane running and publish live status at status.compedgesolutions.us. We do not offer a formal uptime guarantee at these prices. Maintenance is done outside busy hours where we can. Support is by email, and we answer as quickly as we reasonably can.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using PrayerLane at any time. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where continued operation would be unlawful. Except in urgent cases we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. On closure we delete your account data on request, and your prayer platform account remains untouched and entirely yours.

12. Our intellectual property

The PrayerLane software, name, and design are ours. Using the service does not transfer any of it to you.

13. Other companies' names

Echo Prayer and any other platform we name are trademarks of their respective owners. We name them only to describe what PrayerLane works with. We are independent of them and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by them.

14. Disclaimer

PrayerLane is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that a third party platform will accept every submission.

15. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use PrayerLane after that means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Ohio, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Contact
